Imboga International Investment Ltd. is planning a business project in Rwanda, specifically a vineyard with grape cultivation and wine production in Rubavu District. We kindly ask you to review our request and to forward it to the appropriate authorities within the Government of Rwanda and/or the Rubavu District Administration.

We respectfully seek guidance in identifying a suitable location for our vineyard: 1–5 hectares of appropriate land within Rubavu District. We are only interested in government-owned land and request a long-term lease agreement of up to 99 years, based on yearly payment. As we plan for expansion, we would also appreciate an option agreement for an additional 5–10 hectares.

Project Description
Rubavu District is characterized by volcanic soils. For this reason, our project includes two technical reports:

• A report describing the local soil system
• A research-based report identifying grape varieties suitable for this soil type.

We have also prepared two business plans: a Startup Plan – Phase 1 – and a Full Strategic Business Plan, delivered as two separate PDF files, as well as one combined all-in-one document.

We are ideally looking for hillside land, not too high in elevation, and preferably with a view of Lake Kivu, as we also plan to develop tourism-related facilities. On this land, we hope to establish a new foundation for grape cultivation, a pilot wine-production facility, an exclusive restaurant, and a business that will benefit the local community in many ways.

At this stage, the most important step is to establish contact with the Government of Rwanda and the local authorities of Rubavu District, to determine whether the type of agreement we are seeking is feasible. Most importantly, we kindly request an initial indication of the terms and cost level for such a lease agreement.

• Is it possible to carry out our plans?
• What is the approximate yearly cost of leasing 1–5 hectares during the startup phase?
• Are the investment costs low enough to attract investors to the project?

Startup costs are the key factor that will determine our next steps. These questions must be answered before we begin traveling to Rwanda for practical planning and local assessments. Our investors expect a concrete and realistic project – not dreams or abstract visions. If a yearly paid lease agreement can be established at an attractive cost level, then the project is 100% achievable. Under such conditions, even the development of a golf facility becomes realistic, and the project could quickly expand into an exclusive tourism destination.

As a here Managing Director here I also bring in my 40 years of experience as a film director and photographer, having produced more than 1,500 films for international broadcasters such as BBC, CNN, and all major Norwegian TV channels. I have also played golf for 50 years and served as President of the Wine Appreciation Society of Norway from 1987 to 1995. Overall, my background and experience should be relevant and strong enough for a project of this kind.

At the end of the day, the fundamental basis of any business is a solid marketing and sales concept. I am an innovator, and this has been my area of expertise for more than 40 years.
